Kristine Hill

Kristine Hill is a member of the Beaver Clan of the Tuscarora Nation, Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Her work brings together restorative practice with Indigenous peacekeeping, creating learning experiences grounded in relationship, reciprocity, and lived experience.

For more than twenty years, Kristine has worked in education, administration, financial management, and restorative justice, working and living off her own peoples’ lands. She has been contributing to the wider space as an Indigenous peacemaker, restorative practitioner, team elder, financial manager, program developer, and all-around wise auntie to many different people. She is the founder of Strawberry Wisdom, a nonprofit dedicated to heart-centered healing.

Kristine believes meaningful change begins with the way we relate to one another. Her teaching invites people to pause, listen deeply, and discover what becomes possible when fairness and relationship remain at the center of our work.

She lives in New York’s Hudson Valley on the historical eastern door of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, in the homelands of the Mohican/Mahican people. She is also a mother, grandmother, and lifelong learner who values rest, family, and community.
