Are you curious about building resilient, alternative community-based economies? Interested in practical ways to embrace regenerative lifestyles in your daily life?

In this captivating live conversation, Ram Oruganti will guide us through the vital role of community wisdom and indigenous knowledge in the context of climate action. He will shed light on the transformative potential of micro-universities and the invaluable insights of indigenous women.

Ram generally introduces himself in simple terms: “I work with farmers.” He went around the Parliament of World Religions saying that, though he could easily have put forward some impressive ethical/religious credentials. His introduction signals something important: that farmers matter. That those people who work with their hands in the soil, who have the practical knowledge of growing and feeding people, of markets and families, are amongst the critical actors who sustain our collective cultures. That’s a spiritual truth there that most religions know somewhere in their bones, whether or not they always say it explicitly. Afterall, the spiritual power of creation dwells in the seed. Not just the metaphorical seed. The actual seeds from which plants, and with plants our own lives, can grow.

We are co-hosting this conversation with the Sequoia Samanvanya. In this talk we will tap into Ram’s wisdom and experience and:

    •  Explore the collective wisdom that communities hold in addressing pressing environmental issues.

    •  Discover innovative approaches to alternative, community-driven economies that prioritize well-being over profit.

    •  Learn practical tips on how to integrate regenerative practices into your everyday life.

This FREE live conversation is sure to be a thought-provoking inspection of the intersection of community, sustainability, and resilience.
